Quick answer
The ROVE boxed game pre-order is available now from Button Shy, with shipping expected in January 2027. This standard edition is ideal for fans of compact, thoughtful game designs who want a physical boxed copy for their collection.
Why pre-order ROVE?
Pre-ordering the ROVE boxed game secures your copy ahead of the January 2027 release. Button Shy is known for its compact wallet games, and this boxed edition offers a more traditional format that's perfect for gifting or display. If you've enjoyed other Button Shy titles, ROVE follows the same design philosophy of engaging gameplay in a small package.
What you need to know about pre-order timing
Button Shy lists the shipping window as January 2027, which means your order will likely ship sometime that month. As with any pre-order, dates can shift due to production or logistics. If you need a game immediately, a pre-order may not be the best choice. But if you're planning ahead or want to secure a limited run, this is a solid option.
Pre-order decision rules
- When to pre-order: Pre-order if you're a fan of Button Shy's compact game designs and want a boxed copy for gifting or collection. The standard edition is straightforward—no confusing variants. Order now to lock in your copy before the January 2027 release.
- When to wait: If you need a game to play immediately, skip the pre-order. The January 2027 window means a multi-month wait. Also, if you prefer the wallet-size format, this boxed edition may not match your storage preference.
- What to expect after ordering: Button Shy will ship your order in January 2027. No specific date within that month is guaranteed. Keep an eye on your email for tracking updates around that time. Set a reminder for January 2027 to check your shipping status.
