Quick Answer
Place the Sau Sing Kung on Longevity Dragon Tortoise in your home or office to invite protection, health, and extended lifespan. Activate it by placing it on a table or altar in the east or center area, facing inward.
Why This Specific Symbol Matters
Combining Sau Sing Kung (the God of Longevity) with a dragon tortoise is rare and intentional. The dragon tortoise provides protective earth energy and support, while Sau Sing Kung amplifies the blessing of a long, healthy life. This union is especially helpful if you want both stability and vitality in your space.
A common mistake is treating this piece like a generic figurine. Because it contains infused earth material, it already carries steady energy out of the box. You don't need to add soil or rice, but you should still give it a focused purpose.
How to Use and Activate the Sau Sing Kung on Longevity Dragon Tortoise
- Choose the Right Location: Place the piece in the east sector of your home (health gua) or center (general harmony). Avoid the bedroom or bathroom, as those spaces weaken the protective energy. Don't place it directly on the floor; use a clean table, shelf, or altar cloth to separate it from the ground.
- Set an Intention: Hold the figurine in both hands and silently state your wish: for yourself or a family member's health. Be specific, such as "I invite Sau Sing Kung to bless my father with steady energy." Avoid vague wishes like "good health" without a person in mind. The clearer the target, the stronger the feng shui response.
- Face It Inward: Position the dragon tortoise so it faces into the room, not toward a door or window. This prevents the longevity energy from leaving. If you place it in a study or home office, angle it toward your work chair so its energy supports your daily output.
- Maintain and Refresh: Dust the piece once a month with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water or soap, which can degrade the earth material. Optional: after deep cleaning, repeat the intention-setting step. Do not move it frequently; a stable position builds accumulated energy.
