Quick answer
Spin the Scott Pilgrim EX 2xLP first if you want a high-energy, 71-track electronic soundtrack and value an iam8bit exclusive edition. Choose TOEM 2xLP first if you prefer chill, acoustic-driven tunes for relaxed listening sessions.
Track count and listening commitment
Scott Pilgrim EX packs 71 tracks across two LPs, giving you a long, varied listen that rewards repeat spins. TOEM’s 2xLP offers a more compact set, which suits shorter sessions or background listening. If you like to sit with an album front to back, the Scott Pilgrim EX vinyl gives you more material to explore.
Mood and genre fit
Anamanaguchi’s score for Scott Pilgrim EX blends electronic energy with the band’s signature style, making it a natural pick for fans of upbeat game music. TOEM’s soundtrack leans on light acoustic melodies and whimsical electronic beats, creating a cozy, unhurried atmosphere. Neither is objectively better—your listening habits should decide.
Exclusivity and availability
The Scott Pilgrim EX 2xLP is an iam8bit Exclusive Edition, which may appeal to collectors who value limited pressings. TOEM 2xLP is a standard release, so it’s less likely to disappear quickly. If you’re drawn to exclusive indie game vinyl, Scott Pilgrim EX is the more time-sensitive choice.
