Quick answer
If your Step2 play kitchen is missing or has worn knobs, burners, handles, pot holder hangers, or the utensil bar with hooks, the Step2 replacement hardware set (product ID 1292012) is a practical all-in-one solution. This guide explains what's included and how to decide if it fits your needs.
What's in the replacement hardware set?
The Step2 replacement hardware set includes knobs, burners, light handles, pot holder hangers, and a utensil bar with hooks. It is designed for use with compatible Step2 play kitchens and similar sets. This set helps you restore or upgrade your child's play area without buying a whole new kitchen.
Compatibility considerations
This set is intended for compatible Step2 play kitchens. Not all Step2 models use the same hardware. Check your kitchen's model number and compare the included pieces to your existing parts. If your kitchen uses different burner shapes or handle sizes, this set may not fit perfectly.
How to decide if this hardware set is right for you
- Check your missing parts: List which pieces you need. If you are missing knobs, burners, handles, pot holder hangers, or the utensil bar with hooks, this set covers all of them.
- Verify compatibility with your model: Look up your Step2 play kitchen model number. If the set is listed as compatible, it will likely fit. If not, measure your existing hardware openings. If measurements don't match, consider contacting Step2 support for model-specific parts.
- Consider the condition of existing parts: If only one knob is broken, you could replace just that piece. But if multiple parts show wear or are missing, buying the full set is more cost-effective.
