Quick answer

The Thrilljoy PIX! Bebop is a 2025 event exclusive limited to 6000 pieces, making it a more accessible limited edition for collectors who want a distinct TMNT villain without the scarcity of a 1-of-a-kind chase.

Why the edition size matters

A limited edition run of 6000 pieces strikes a balance between collectibility and availability. It is small enough to feel exclusive, but large enough that you are not competing with hundreds of other buyers the moment it drops. For comparison, many event exclusives are capped at 3000 or fewer, which drives up secondary market prices and makes them harder to find at retail.

Event exclusive vs. convention exclusive

This figure is labeled a 2025 Event Exclusive, meaning it was released at a specific event rather than a general convention. Event exclusives often have a slightly wider release window than convention exclusives, but they are still only sold through the event organizer or its official retail partners. If you missed the event, you will likely need to buy from a secondary market or a store that acquired leftover stock.

Chase variant potential

Thrilljoy PIX! figures sometimes include a chase variant, but the catalog description for this Bebop only notes a "Chance of Chase". This means there is no guarantee a chase exists, and if it does, it is extremely rare. Do not buy this figure expecting a chase; buy it for the standard design, which features Bebop in his street punk style with classic purple sunglasses.

Decision rules for buying the Thrilljoy PIX! Bebop

  • Edition size check: Confirm the figure is marked as LE 6000 on the packaging or listing. This is the only way to verify it is the standard event exclusive, not a counterfeited or mismarked piece.
  • Event origin: Understand that this is an event exclusive, not a convention exclusive. If you are buying after the event, expect a higher price and limited availability from authorized retailers. Check the seller's return policy in case the figure arrives without the COA or with damaged packaging.
  • Chase expectations: Do not pay a premium hoping for a chase variant. The "Chance of Chase" note means a chase is possible but unconfirmed. Treat any chase as a bonus, not a guarantee.
