Quick Answer

The ToughTested ProComm 724 Bluetooth headset is a practical pick for hands-free calls and audio streaming during a typical workday, thanks to its adjustable headband and on-headset controls.

What to Consider Before Buying

The ProComm 724 is built for hands-free calling and audio streaming, but there are a few trade-offs to weigh. It uses noise isolation rather than active noise cancellation, so it tones down background chatter instead of fully silencing it. That's fine for a home office or a quiet car, but not ideal for a noisy open floor plan.

Battery life is another factor. The catalog doesn't list a specific runtime, so if you need a headset that lasts through back-to-back meetings, you may want to check the manual or test it during your first week. For most users, the adjustable headband and on-headset controls make it easy to use throughout the day.

Common Questions Answered

How do I pair the ProComm 724 with my phone?

Put the headset in pairing mode (typically by holding the power button until the indicator light flashes), then select 'ToughTested ProComm 724' from your phone's Bluetooth settings. If pairing fails, turn off Bluetooth on nearby devices and try again. Keep the headset close to your phone during pairing to avoid interference.

What is the battery life like?

The catalog does not specify an exact battery life. Expect it to last through a typical workday of calls and streaming, but test it early to see if it meets your usage. Recharge when the low-battery indicator appears. Charge the headset overnight if you have long meeting days.

Is it comfortable for all-day wear?

The adjustable headband lets you customize the fit, and the on-headset controls mean you don't have to shift it to reach buttons. Comfort depends on your head size and ear shape, so wear it for a few hours during a trial period. If it feels tight, adjust the headband or take short breaks to avoid pressure points.
