Quick answer
The Verxina as QueenV figure is a genuine Banpresto release from the Uma Musume BoC'z line, not a fan-made or unlicensed item. It stands about 19 cm (7.41 inches) tall and is sold as an authentic Japanese figure, so collectors can buy with confidence when they check the source.
Myth: BoC'z figures are a different scale or quality tier
The BoC'z line is a Banpresto series within the Uma Musume Pretty Derby franchise, and the Verxina as QueenV figure follows the same format as other entries. There is no separate 'premium' or 'budget' tier implied by the BoC'z name itself; the figure is a standard Banpresto release with the craftsmanship and packaging typical of the line. Collectors should judge it by its actual specifications, not by assumptions about the sub-line.
Myth: You need to worry about counterfeits with this specific figure
While counterfeits exist in the anime figure market, the Verxina as QueenV figure is supplied as 100% authentic and dispatched directly from Osaka, Japan, by the store. That origin matters because it reduces the risk of gray-market copies. The figure is also described as being in great condition and well packaged for safe delivery, which are practical points for collectors who care about box condition and paint integrity on arrival.
Myth: The figure is too small to display alongside larger scales
At 7.41 inches (19 cm), the Verxina as QueenV figure is a mid-sized display piece. It is not a tiny trading figure, nor is it a large 1/7 scale statue. That size makes it flexible for shelves, detolfs, or desk displays without dominating a collection. The height is a supplied catalog fact, so you can plan shelf spacing before buying rather than guessing.
Verdicts on common claims
- Claim: It's a fan-made or unlicensed figure: False. The figure is a Bandai Banpresto product from the official Uma Musume BoC'z series, and the store lists it as 100% authentic and shipped from Osaka, Japan. Check the brand and series on the listing before assuming a figure is unofficial.
- Claim: The figure is a large-scale statue: Not quite. At 7.41 inches (19 cm), it is a mid-sized figure, smaller than typical 1/7 scale statues but larger than trading figures. Measure your shelf height against 19 cm to avoid display surprises.
- Claim: BoC'z figures are lower quality than other Banpresto lines: No evidence for that. The catalog describes exquisite craftsmanship and well-packaged delivery, consistent with Banpresto's standard quality for this line. Judge quality by the actual figure and packaging, not by sub-line labels.
- Claim: You can't find this figure at a reasonable price: The catalog price is USD 23.68, compared to a listed comparison price of USD 37.00, so it is currently offered below that reference. Compare the current price to the comparison price to gauge value.
