Quick answer

For most Warhammer 40k players, the best dice bag is the one that matches your favorite faction. All three official embroidered dice bags share the same 80-die capacity, cotton fabric, and drawstring closure, so the only meaningful difference is the embroidered icon.

Same bag, different emblem

The Ultramarines, Inquisition, and Adepta Sororitas dice bags are identical in size (14 x 20 cm, 1 Litre capacity) and material (100% cotton, 140gsm). Each holds up to 80 standard dice and closes with a rope draw cord. The only variation is the embroidered faction icon on the front.

If you collect multiple armies or play different factions, you may want a bag for each. But if you only need one, pick the faction you identify with most.

Price differences

The Adepta Sororitas bag is priced at USD 12.92, while the Ultramarines bag costs USD 11.59 and the Inquisition bag USD 11.40. These small price gaps (under USD 1.50) reflect the catalog comparison price of USD 19.00 for each, so all three offer a similar discount.

If budget is your only concern, the Inquisition bag is the cheapest, but the difference is minor enough that you should prioritize the icon you like.

How to choose your dice bag

  • Faction loyalty: If you play a specific army, pick the bag with that faction's icon. Ultramarines for blue, Adepta Sororitas for the Ecclesiarchy, or Inquisition for a more neutral but iconic symbol.
  • Budget: The Inquisition bag is the cheapest at USD 11.40, followed by Ultramarines at USD 11.59 and Adepta Sororitas at USD 12.92. All are discounted from the USD 19.00 reference price. The price gap is under USD 1.60, so don't let budget be the deciding factor.
  • Care and maintenance: All three bags are sponge clean only. Avoid machine washing to preserve the embroidery and cotton fabric. Sponge cleaning keeps the embroidery intact and the bag looking new.
