Quick answer
For a bold 40K centerpiece, choose the Space Marine 2 Lieutenant Titus mat; for a versatile fantasy option at a lower price, pick the Vermintide 2 Versus mat.
What these mats share
All four mats measure 80cm x 40cm, giving you a generous surface for both mouse movement and keyboard placement. Each uses a high-quality sublimation print for vivid, durable artwork, and a rubber base keeps the mat firmly in place during intense sessions.
Because they share the same dimensions and construction, your choice comes down to artwork preference and price rather than performance differences.
Space Marine 2 vs Vermintide 2: the trade-off
The Space Marine 2 Lieutenant Titus mat (product 1615894) showcases the iconic Ultramarine captain, making it a strong pick for 40K fans who want a heroic focal point on their desk. It is priced at $19.60, slightly below the standard $28.00 comparison price, offering a modest saving.
The Vermintide 2 Versus mat (product 1615906) is the budget-friendly option at $17.64, making it the most affordable way to bring Warhammer fantasy action to your setup. If you prefer the grimdark 40K aesthetic over the fantasy Old World, the extra $1.96 may be worth it.
For fans of the Ubersreik Five, the Vermintide 2 Ubersreik Five mat (product 1615902) sits at $20.16, the same price as the standard Space Marine 2 mat (product 1615899). This gives you a direct price tie, so the decision falls entirely on which artwork speaks to you.
