Quick Answer

A plush dog bed is a soft, portable sleeping spot for a child's stuffed animal—and the Kawai and Sumo 18cm plush dogs each come with their own quilted basket, making them a ready-to-use pretend pet set.

Why a Plush Dog Bed Matters for Kids

A dedicated bed for a plush toy helps children practice nurturing routines and encourages imaginative play. The included basket doubles as a cozy home for the dog and a storage spot when playtime ends.

Trade-Off: Basket vs. Open Play

The soft, quilted basket is designed for the dog to sleep in, not for rough active play. If your child prefers to carry the dog everywhere, the basket can be set aside and used as a separate play accessory.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the plush dog bed?

The basket is sized to fit the 18cm plush dog snugly. It is not a full-sized pet bed for a real animal.

Can the basket be removed and used separately?

Yes. The basket is a separate piece that can be taken out and used as a standalone play accessory or storage for small toys.

Is the basket machine washable?

The basket is made of faux fur and quilted fabric. Spot cleaning is recommended to preserve the material and shape. For gentle care, hand wash the basket with mild soap and air dry.

Are the collar and basket made in France?

Yes. The design, development, and manufacturing of the collar and basket are made in France, while the plush dog itself is imported.
