Quick answer
Assign each pair a weekday, store them in order, and rotate through the pack so every g-string gets equal wear and you never scramble for a clean pair.
Why a consistent rotation matters
A 7-pack gives you exactly one pair per day, but without a system you can end up wearing favorites twice and leaving others untouched. A planned rotation spreads wear evenly, helps you notice when a pair needs replacing, and makes laundry day predictable.
What about the Modal fabric?
Lenzing™ Modal is soft and breathable, but it can lose shape faster if you machine-dry it or skip the gentle cycle. Rotating pairs gives each one a full week to rest between wears, which helps the fibers recover and extends the life of the whole multipack.
Steps to build your rotation
- Label each pair by day: Use a fabric-safe marker or small stitch to mark the inside waistband with Monday through Sunday. If you prefer not to mark the fabric, assign days mentally and keep a note in your drawer. Common mistake: skipping the labeling and relying on memory—you'll likely lose track by Wednesday.
- Store pairs in day-order: Arrange the seven g-strings in your drawer from Monday (top or left) to Sunday (bottom or right). Use drawer dividers or small bins to keep them separated so you can grab the correct pair without rummaging.
- Wear strictly in sequence: Each morning take the pair assigned to that day. If you skip a day (e.g., wear a different pair), put the skipped pair back at the end of the rotation so it still gets worn that week. Checkpoint: at the end of the week, every pair should have been worn exactly once.
- Launder the entire pack at once: On Sunday evening or Monday morning, wash all seven pairs together in a mesh bag on a gentle cycle with cold water. Air-dry or tumble-dry on low. This resets the rotation and keeps the Modal fabric from pilling. Common mistake: washing only a few pairs midweek—you lose the one-pair-per-day rhythm and risk shrinking or tangling individual pieces.
- Inspect and rotate out worn pairs: Every month, check each g-string for stretched elastic, thinning fabric, or loose seams. If one pair shows wear, replace it from the same multipack (if you bought a backup) or consider buying a new 7-pack. Rotating out a worn pair keeps the rest of the set consistent.
