Quick answer

The Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection bundles three full games—Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations—along with all single-player DLC, remastered for Nintendo Switch with improved resolution and lighting.

What's missing: multiplayer and some features

Brotherhood and Revelations originally included online multiplayer modes, but those are not present in this collection. The experience is entirely single-player.

The collection also omits the original Assassin's Creed game from 2007, so you start directly with Ezio's story in AC2.

Decision rules: Is the Ezio Collection right for you?

  • You want the complete Ezio story: The collection includes all three core games (AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations) plus all single-player DLC, including Sequence 12 and 13 for AC2, The Da Vinci Disappearance for Brotherhood, and The Lost Archive for Revelations. You get the full narrative arc.
  • You care about visual upgrades: The games run at 1080p when docked and 720p in handheld mode, with improved textures, lighting, and a higher frame rate than the original console versions. It’s a noticeable step up from the PS3/Xbox 360 releases.
  • You want multiplayer or the original AC: If you must play the multiplayer modes from Brotherhood or Revelations, or you need to start with the 2007 Assassin's Creed, this collection is not for you. Those are not included. Consider the original platform versions if multiplayer is essential.
