Quick answer

The CRKD ATOM Glacier Blue Edition is a keychain-sized controller that works with Nintendo Switch, PC/Mac, mobile devices, tablets, and Smart TVs. It's best for casual on-the-go gaming and as a collectible, but its small size means it's not a full-featured replacement for a standard controller.

What makes the ATOM Glacier Blue Edition unique?

The ATOM Glacier Blue Edition is a one-of-a-kind keychain controller that fits in your pocket or clips onto your bag. It's compatible with Nintendo Switch, PC/Mac, mobile/tablet, and Smart TV gaming, making it one of the most versatile compact controllers available. Its retro-modern design appeals to both casual gamers and collectors who want a functional piece of gaming history.

Key trade-offs to consider

Because of its keychain form factor, the ATOM has smaller buttons and a compact layout compared to full-size controllers. This makes it ideal for quick sessions or travel but less comfortable for long gaming marathons. It also lacks features like rumble, motion controls, or analog triggers that some games require. If you need those, a standard controller like the CRKD Gibson SG Midnight Blue Edition for PlayStation or PC would be a better fit.

How to decide if ATOM is right for you

  • Portability priority: If you need a controller that fits on a keychain and works with multiple devices, ATOM is the clear choice. Choose ATOM if you game on the go.
  • Full-feature requirement: If you need rumble, analog triggers, or motion controls, a standard controller is necessary. Skip ATOM for competitive or immersive play.
  • Collector appeal: The Glacier Blue colorway and keychain design make it a unique collectible. Great for display or as a gift.
