Unboxing and First Impressions
The figure comes in a compact, brightly colored box featuring Nezuko in her iconic pink kimono and bamboo muzzle. The first thing you'll notice is the surprising softness—the figure is made from a plush-like material that feels like a cross between a stuffed toy and a standard figure.
The craftsmanship is impressive: Nezuko's hair is sculpted with flowing strands that are soft to the touch, and her outfit features intricate patterns that are printed with precision. The bamboo muzzle is a separate piece that fits snugly, adding to the overall charm. The figure stands about 15 cm tall, making it a perfect desk companion or shelf decoration.

Design and Details
Nezuko is depicted in her classic pose, with her hands raised and a determined yet cute expression. The Fluffy Puffy Muki Muki series emphasizes a 'squishy' aesthetic, and this figure delivers. The material has a slight give when pressed, making it satisfying to fidget with. The paint application is clean, with no noticeable smudges or defects.
Her pink kimono features a geometric pattern that is faithfully reproduced, and the rope belt is sculpted with realistic texture. The hair, a standout feature, transitions from a warm brown to a fiery orange at the tips, capturing Nezuko's demon form. The base is simple but effective, with a subtle 'Demon Slayer' logo etched in.

Comparison with Other Demon Slayer Figures
When compared to standard PVC figures, this Fluffy Puffy version offers a unique tactile experience. While PVC figures are rigid and display-focused, the Muki Muki Nezuko invites interaction. It's also lighter, making it easier to move around. However, collectors who prefer traditional figure materials might find the plush texture unusual.
In terms of price, this figure falls in the mid-range for prize figures, offering good value given its quality and uniqueness. For those who already own a standard Nezuko figure, this plush version makes a delightful contrast. And if you're a fan of other series, Banpresto's Fluffy Puffy line includes characters from One Piece and My Hero Academia, so you can expand your collection.
- Interactive soft material vs. rigid PVC
- Comparable price to other prize figures
- Great for both display and play
