Quick answer

The Berry Gift Set bundles a 100% cotton muslin swaddle, three matching muslin washcloths, and a Mon Ami plush toy. It works best as a complete newborn gift set for baby showers or as a ready-to-use starter bundle for parents who want soft, breathable basics.

Why the Berry Gift Set works as a complete baby shower gift set

A single baby gift set that includes both a swaddle and washcloths saves the giver from piecing together items that may not coordinate. The Berry Gift Set pairs a large muslin swaddle with three smaller washcloths in the same fabric family, so the recipient gets a cohesive look without extra shopping.

The included Mon Ami plush toy adds a keepsake element that many standalone swaddle sets lack. For parents, having one toy that matches the set means less visual clutter in the nursery and one less decision about which stuffed animal to keep on the shelf.

Trade-off: what this newborn gift set does not include

The Berry Gift Set does not contain a hat, booties, or a blanket. If you are building a complete layette for a winter baby or a hospital bag, you will need to add those items separately. The swaddle works as a stroller cover or nursing cover, but it is not a full-sized receiving blanket.

The washcloths are muslin, which is soft and gentle but thinner than terry cloth. Parents who prefer a thicker scrub for bath time may want to supplement with a terry washcloth set. The set also lacks a storage bag or gift box, so consider wrapping it yourself if presentation matters.

How to decide if the Berry Gift Set is right for you

  • Choose this set if...: You want a coordinated baby shower gift set that includes both a swaddle and washcloths in one box. The matching pieces save the recipient from mixing and matching brands.
  • Skip this set if...: You need a full layette with hats, booties, or a thick blanket. This set covers only swaddle, washcloths, and a toy, so you will need to add other items for a complete hospital bag or winter wardrobe.
  • Use the swaddle as...: A nursing cover, stroller cover, change pad, or cuddle blanket. The large size and breathable cotton make it versatile beyond just swaddling. Parents who already own a swaddle may still find this set useful because the swaddle doubles as a multi-purpose cover.
