Quick answer
The Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Greek Series V1 Leonidas Pre-Production Sample is a rare blister carded action figure for serious collectors who value unique factory history and are comfortable with as-is condition.
Why this pre-production sample matters
Pre-production samples like this Leonidas figure show the development process before final retail. This specific sample captures an early packaging decision: the figure originally came with his helmet on, but Boss Fight Studio later changed it to keep the helmet off for a better fit in the blister card. Owning this piece gives you a direct look at that design choice.
Condition and what 'as-is' means
This item is sold as-is, which is standard for pre-production samples. They may have minor wear, factory marks, or packaging differences from the final product. Inspect photos carefully and be prepared for an ungraded collectible. The value lies in its rarity and story, not in mint condition.
Decision rules for this pre-production figure
- Rarity vs. condition: This is a one-of-a-kind pre-production sample. If you value unique factory history over mint condition, this is a strong choice. If you need a pristine, graded collectible, look for a final retail version.
- Packaging difference: The figure comes with his helmet on in the packaging, which was later changed for the final release. If you appreciate seeing the original design intent, this sample delivers that story.
- As-is purchase: All pre-production items are sold as-is. There is no return or exchange for condition issues. Examine all provided photos and ask questions before buying. Request additional photos if the listing does not show all angles.

Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. Greek Series V1 Leonidas Pre-Production Sample: This extremely rare pre-production sample shows version one of Leonidas in his packaging with his helmet on. The long sold out warrior king remains one of our most popular characters. When we saw this sample from the factory we made edits to how he was packed and kept his helmet off since it didn’t sit right in the packaging. All items sold as-is. You are buying a piece of Boss Fight Studio history that directly influenced the final packaging design, but you must accept the as-is condition and the fact that the figure may differ from the retail version.
