Quick answer
The Boxing Icons Top Trumps card game lets you compare 30 legendary fighters across stats like Total Fights and undefeated records, making it a fun way to settle debates about heavyweight greats.
How the stats reflect real careers
Each card in the Boxing Icons deck includes real career stats such as Total Fights, Wins, and Knockouts. This means you can compare Muhammad Ali's 61 total fights against Mike Tyson's 58 or Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s perfect 50-0 record. The numbers are pulled from actual boxing history, so the game doubles as a trivia experience for fans of the sport.
Why heavyweight legends stand out
Heavyweight fighters like Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, and Tyson Fury are often the most debated in boxing history. In the Top Trumps game, their cards highlight what made each unique: Ali's longevity, Tyson's knockout power, and Fury's undefeated streak. Comparing these stats head-to-head gives you a fresh perspective on who dominated in different eras.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Muhammad Ali vs. Mike Tyson: Ali's card typically shows a high Total Fights stat (61), reflecting his long career. Tyson's card emphasizes Knockouts, with 44 KOs in 58 fights. If you value endurance, pick Ali; if you want raw power, Tyson wins.
- Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Tyson Fury: Mayweather's undefeated 50-0 record is a standout stat, but Fury's 34-0-1 record includes a heavier weight class and more knockouts. Mayweather's card is best for the 'perfect record' category, while Fury edges ahead in Wins and Knockouts.
- Sugar Ray Robinson vs. Joe Louis: Robinson's Total Fights stat (200+) is the highest in the deck, making him unbeatable in that category. Joe Louis's card highlights his 66 wins and 52 knockouts. Use Robinson for volume, Louis for efficiency. The deck includes fighters from multiple weight classes, so not every card is a heavyweight. Check the weight class on the card to avoid mismatches.
