Quick answer
You can send photos wirelessly to the BRAUN DigiFrame 10X WiFi using the free BRAUN Photo app for iOS and Android. No cables, no SD card needed for basic transfers.
Why WiFi beats cables and cards
The DigiFrame 10X WiFi stores up to 10,000 images on its 16 GB internal memory. Once connected to your home network, you can push new pictures from anywhere in the house without pulling the frame off the wall or hunting for an SD card.
The frame also has a G-sensor that automatically rotates the display between landscape and portrait, so photos from your phone (which are often vertical) show correctly without manual cropping.
How to send photos to your BRAUN DigiFrame 10X WiFi
- 1. Connect the frame to your WiFi: Power on the DigiFrame 10X WiFi. Go to Settings > Network > WiFi. Select your home network and enter the password using the touchscreen. The frame remembers the network after the first setup. If the frame doesn't appear on the network, check that your router uses 2.4 GHz – some older frames don't support 5 GHz bands.
- 2. Install the BRAUN Photo app on your phone: Search for 'BRAUN Photo' in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Download and open the app. Grant photo library access when prompted so the app can see your images. Make sure your phone is on the same WiFi network as the frame. The app will not find the frame over mobile data.
- 3. Pair the app with the frame: In the app, tap 'Add Device' or the plus icon. The app scans the network and shows your DigiFrame 10X WiFi. Tap it to pair. You may see a 4-digit code on the frame – enter it in the app to confirm. If no frame appears, close and reopen the app, then restart the frame. Some routers block device discovery; temporarily disable 'AP isolation' in your router settings.
- 4. Select and send photos: In the app, choose photos from your library. You can select multiple images at once. Tap 'Send' or the upload icon. The photos transfer over WiFi and appear on the frame within a few seconds. Sending very large batches (50+ photos) may take a minute. Transfer happens in the background – you can close the app once the upload starts.
- 5. Adjust display settings (optional): On the frame, tap the screen to open the menu. Go to Settings > Slideshow to set transition effects, display duration, and shuffle mode. The G-sensor handles orientation automatically. If a photo appears stretched, check that the frame's 'Fill Screen' option is turned off. The frame will then show the full image with small black bars instead of cropping.
