Quick answer
The Bruder 02034 Irrigation Trailer is a realistic farm accessory that adds a functional watering station to any Bruder tractor or farm play set, thanks to its crank-operated 1.8-meter hose and detailed sprayer.
Why add an irrigation trailer to your farm play set
Irrigation trailers are used wherever a consistent water supply is needed—sports fields, tree nurseries, orchards, or large farm areas. The Bruder 02034 brings this real-world task into play, letting kids simulate watering crops or fields with a trailer that actually works.
Unlike static accessories, this trailer includes a crank-operated hose reel that unrolls a 1.8-meter hose. A detailed sprayer attaches to the end, making the watering action feel purposeful. It turns a simple tractor ride into a chore with a visible result.
What to consider before buying
The trailer is designed to pair with Bruder tractors and farm vehicles, but it does not include a tractor itself. If you are starting a farm collection from scratch, you will need to purchase a compatible tractor separately.
The hose length (1.8 meters) is generous for indoor or small outdoor play areas, but on very large play mats or sandboxes, the reach may feel limited. For open-ended water play without a hose, a simpler watering can or bucket might be more flexible.
How to decide if the Bruder 02034 is right for you
- Already own a Bruder tractor or farm vehicle?: The trailer hooks up to most Bruder tractors and farm machines. If you have a compatible vehicle, this is a straightforward add-on that expands play without needing a new tractor. Check your tractor's hitch compatibility if unsure.
- Looking for a functional, not just decorative, accessory?: The crank-operated hose and sprayer make this a working piece of equipment. Kids can actually unroll the hose, aim, and pretend to water crops. It is more engaging than a static trailer or a simple wagon.
- Play area size matters: The 1.8-meter hose is great for tabletops, small rooms, or sandboxes. If your child plays on a large floor mat or in a big backyard, the hose might not reach across the whole area. Consider combining with multiple trailers or a larger water play setup. Measure your play space to see if 1.8 meters of hose feels sufficient.
