Quick Answer
The Byrna LE Launcher Universal Kit includes the redesigned LE launcher, a CO2 cartridge, and accessories to get you started, but it does not include chemical projectiles—you'll need to add those separately.
Why the Kit Doesn't Include Chemical Projectiles
The Byrna LE Universal Kit is designed to give you the launcher and essentials, but it purposely leaves out chemical projectiles. This lets you choose the projectile type that fits your self-defense needs, whether that's kinetic rounds for training or chemical rounds for personal protection. It also keeps the initial cost lower if you already have projectiles from a previous Byrna system.
What to Consider Before Your First Use
Before you can use the Byrna LE, you'll need to purchase compatible .68 caliber projectiles and a CO2 cartridge if one isn't included. The kit includes a CO2 cartridge, but you should verify the included cartridge size and check the user manual for proper installation. Also, remember that the launcher requires the safety switch to be in the correct position before loading.
