Quick Answer
The Sports Armband Strap itself fits any arm size, but your phone must be in a Quad Lock case or use a Universal Adaptor to attach to the armband. The strap is not a universal phone holder; it's the band that holds the mounting head.
Why the Strap Is Not the Limiting Factor
The Sports Armband Strap is just the band that wraps around your arm. It uses a Velcro closure and is made of durable nylon, so it adjusts to fit most arm sizes comfortably. The actual phone compatibility depends on the mounting head and whether your phone has a Quad Lock case or a Universal Adaptor attached.
If you already own a Quad Lock Sports Armband, replacing the strap is straightforward and keeps your existing mounting hardware. This is a common reason to buy the replacement strap: the band wears out or you want a fresh one for a new season of training.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Sports Armband Strap fit any phone?
No. The strap is the band only. Your phone must be in a Quad Lock case or have a Universal Adaptor to attach to the armband's mounting head. The strap itself adjusts to fit your arm, not your phone.
Can I use a third-party armband with the Quad Lock mounting head?
The replacement strap is designed specifically for the Quad Lock Sports Armband. Using a non-Quad Lock band may not provide a secure fit or proper alignment for the mounting head. Stick with the official replacement strap to keep the mounting head stable during activity.
When should I buy the replacement strap?
Buy the replacement strap when your current band is worn, stretched, or you want a different color. It's a cost-effective way to refresh your armband without replacing the entire mounting system. Check the Velcro and nylon for wear before your next race or long run.
