Quick answer
The MAGNA-TILES Cars 2 Piece Expansion Set gives you two magnetic vehicle chassis in green and yellow. With just these two tiles, you can build a simple car or truck by attaching standard MAGNA-TILES pieces you already own. This set is not a standalone playset—it's an expansion pack designed to add vehicle mobility to your existing collection.
What's in the box?
The MAGNA-TILES Cars 2 Piece Expansion Set includes two magnetic vehicle chassis: one green and one yellow. Each chassis is a flat base with wheels and strong magnets embedded in the corners. The set does not include any standard magnetic tiles, so you will need to supply those from other MAGNA-TILES sets to complete your vehicle builds.
What can you build with two chassis?
With just the two chassis, you can attach any standard MAGNA-TILES square or triangle to create a simple car body. For example, snap a square tile onto the green chassis for a basic car, or stack a few tiles to make a pickup truck or a small bus. The yellow chassis can become a separate vehicle or combine with the green one for a longer train-like build. The key limitation is that you need at least a few standard tiles to give the vehicle sides, a roof, or any detail.
Who is this set for?
This expansion set is ideal for families who already own a MAGNA-TILES starter set, such as the Classic 74 Piece Set or the House 28 Piece Set. It adds wheeled mobility to builds without requiring a large investment. If you are new to MAGNA-TILES, consider a larger set first so you have enough tiles to actually build vehicles around the chassis.

Diagnosis: Is the Cars 2 Piece Expansion Set right for you?
- Symptom: You want to add wheeled vehicles to your MAGNA-TILES builds but don't need more standard tiles. This set solves that need directly.
- Likely cause: Your current collection has plenty of squares and triangles, but no way to make them roll. The two chassis fill that gap.
- Corrective action: Buy the Cars 2 Piece Expansion Set and attach your existing tiles to the chassis to build cars, trucks, or trains. Works best with at least 10–15 standard tiles on hand.
- Stop or choose another option: If you have fewer than 10 standard tiles or no MAGNA-TILES set yet, start with a larger set like the Undersea Adventure 58 Piece Set or Shark Dive 13 Piece Set to get both tiles and a theme. The Cars set is not a standalone entry point.
