Quick answer
The City Pop Rocks dice set is a handmade sharp edge collection that captures the vibrant, nostalgic aesthetic of city pop culture with a rainbow glittering kaleidoscope finish.
What makes the design unique?
The City Pop Rocks set stands out because of its rainbow glittering kaleidoscope effect. Each die catches light differently, creating a shifting display of colors that mirrors the neon-lit, retro-futuristic vibe of city pop album art.
Because the dice are handmade, every set has slight variations in glitter placement and color gradient. This means no two sets are exactly alike, adding a personal touch to your collection.
Is it suitable for actual gameplay?
Yes. Despite the elaborate appearance, each die is quality-inspected to be visually perfect and suitable for casual play. The sharp edges provide a satisfying roll, though the glitter and resin finish may show wear over time with heavy use.
If you play frequently, consider using a dice tray to protect both the dice and your table surface. The sharp edges can be more prone to chipping on hard surfaces.
Frequently asked questions
What dice sizes are included?
The City Pop Rocks set includes one D4, D6, D8, D10, D%, D12, and D20, covering all standard polyhedral dice for RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons.
Are the dice balanced for fair play?
Each set is handmade and quality-inspected for visual perfection and casual play. While not precision-balanced for tournament use, they are suitable for typical tabletop gaming sessions. If you need tournament-grade balance, consider machine-tumbled dice instead.
How do I care for sharp edge dice?
Store them in a soft pouch or dice tray to avoid scratches and chips. Clean with a damp cloth if needed; avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the resin.
Will the glitter fade over time?
The glitter is embedded in the resin, so it will not peel or flake off. However, the surface may develop micro-scratches with heavy use, which can slightly dull the shine. Using a dice tray can help preserve the glossy finish longer.
