Quick answer
The Sorcerer Ascendant is a visually striking handmade sharp edge dice set with blue-purple tones, gold foil, and holographic inclusions that glitter in all lights, suitable for casual play.
Unique visual design
The Sorcerer Ascendant set stands out with its blue-purple color scheme combined with gold foil and holographic inclusions. The glitter effect is visible under various lighting conditions, making it a conversation starter at any tabletop session. However, because each set is handmade, the exact color distribution and foil placement will vary slightly between sets.
Practical considerations for play
While the dice are visually perfect and quality-inspected, they are intended for casual play rather than competitive or tournament use. The sharp edges and holographic inclusions can make the dice more prone to chipping if dropped on hard surfaces. Consider using a dice tray or soft rolling surface to protect the edges.
Frequently asked questions
What dice are included in the Sorcerer Ascendant set?
The set includes one D4, D6, D8, D10, D%, D12, and D20. This covers the standard polyhedral dice needed for most tabletop role-playing games.
Are these dice suitable for competitive play?
The dice are quality-inspected to be visually perfect and suitable for casual play. They are not specified for tournament or competitive use, so for high-stakes games, you may prefer dice with stricter balance tolerances. Use these for casual sessions; consider dedicated competition dice for tournaments.
How should I care for the holographic finish?
Clean with a soft, dry cloth to avoid scratching the holographic inclusions. Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals or prolonged sunlight, which could dull the foil. Store in a padded dice bag or tray.
