Quick Answer
For the most variety and the lowest cost per piece, choose the Ultimate Expedition Pack. If you want a smaller, more affordable set that still covers three themes, the Dino, Space & Ocean Pack is a great starting point.
Piece Count and Value
The Ultimate Expedition Pack includes 130 pieces with 42 unique shapes, while the Dino, Space & Ocean Pack has 108 pieces with 35 unique shapes. That means the Ultimate pack offers about 20% more pieces and 20% more shape variety for a higher upfront price.
When you compare the catalog prices, the Ultimate Expedition Pack costs USD 129.58 (down from USD 179.97), and the Dino, Space & Ocean Pack costs USD 97.64 (down from USD 139.48). The Ultimate pack works out to roughly USD 1.00 per piece, while the Dino pack is about USD 0.90 per piece. If you plan to buy multiple sets, the Ultimate pack's extra shapes and pieces may justify the slightly higher per-piece cost.
Theme Variety and Creative Potential
Both packs include pieces from three themed worlds: Dinosaur Adventure, Mars Station, and Ocean Marine Marvels. The Ultimate Expedition Pack adds Jungle Birds, giving you a fourth world to explore. This extra theme can inspire new building ideas and extend the play value, especially for kids who enjoy mixing themes.
If your child is especially drawn to dinosaurs, space, or ocean creatures, the Dino, Space & Ocean Pack still covers all three. The Ultimate pack simply adds more options for kids who want to build across all Clixo worlds.
Decision Rules
- If you want the most variety: Choose the Ultimate Expedition Pack. It includes 130 pieces and 42 unique shapes across four themes, giving your child the widest range of building options. Check that your storage space can handle the larger set.
- If you're on a tighter budget: The Dino, Space & Ocean Pack is the more affordable choice at USD 97.64. It still covers three popular themes with 108 pieces, so you won't miss out on core play.
- If your child loves a specific theme: Both packs include dinosaur, space, and ocean pieces. If your child is only interested in one of these themes, either pack works—but the Ultimate pack adds Jungle Birds, which could be a bonus or a distraction. Ask your child which theme they're most excited about before deciding.
