Quick answer
The Byrna CO2 + Ammo Carry Case holds six CO2 canisters and three tubes of projectiles, but it does not include the CO2 or projectiles themselves. Pack it with your most-used ammo first and use the semi-hard shell to protect them during transport.
Why the carry case is worth using
The semi-hard construction with a sturdy industrial-strength zipper protects CO2 cartridges and projectile tubes from crushing or puncturing inside a range bag or backpack. It also keeps everything organized so you are not fumbling for the next reload.
What does not fit
The case is sized for six CO2 canisters and three projectile tubes only. It will not hold a launcher, holster, or larger accessories. If you need to carry extra gear, pair this case with a larger bag or the Byrna Ballistipac.
How to pack your CO2 and ammo carry case
- 1. Load the projectile tubes first: Place three tubes of projectiles into the main compartment. The tubes fit side by side; do not stack them or they may deform. Check that the tubes are not cracked or leaking before loading.
- 2. Insert CO2 canisters into the elastic loops: Slip each CO2 cartridge into one of the six elastic loops on the opposite side of the case. Insert them with the neck pointing downward so they stay secure. Do not overstuff the loops; if a cartridge is too tight, it may tear the elastic over time.
- 3. Zip the case closed and test the fit: Close the zipper fully. The case should lie flat without bulging. If it bulges, remove one item and redistribute the load. A bulging case can strain the zipper and cause it to fail during transport.
- 4. Store the case in a dry, cool place: Keep the packed case away from direct sunlight and extreme heat to preserve CO2 pressure and projectile integrity. Never leave the case in a hot car; high temperatures can cause CO2 canisters to vent.
