Quick answer
Choose the Cotton Pillowcase in Seaweed as a spare cover for your existing pillow, or go with the Cotton Pillow in Natural if you want a complete pillow with a soft fill and washable cover.
Why the material matters for your dog's bed
Both options use 100% breathable cotton, which helps regulate your dog's temperature and reduces the chance of overheating during naps. Cotton is also gentle on sensitive skin and easy to wash, making it a practical choice for everyday use.
Seaweed vs Natural: what's the real difference?
The Cotton Pillowcase in Seaweed is a standalone cover sold without fill. It's ideal if you already have a pillow and just want to refresh its look or add a washable layer. The Cotton Pillow in Natural is a complete pillow with a soft fill and a durable cotton cover. It comes ready to use and is available in one size, so you don't need to buy anything extra.
How to choose between the Cotton Pillowcase and the Cotton Pillow
- Check what you already have: If you have a dog pillow that needs a fresh cover, buy the Cotton Pillowcase in Seaweed. If you need a complete pillow, choose the Cotton Pillow in Natural. Common mistake: buying a cover when you don't have a pillow to put it on.
- Decide on color preference: The Seaweed cover offers a greenish hue, while the Natural pillow is an earthy beige. Pick the one that matches your home decor or hides dirt better. Checkpoint: Lighter colors show dirt more quickly; darker shades like Seaweed may hide wear longer.
- Consider care routine: Both are machine washable. For the Cotton Pillowcase, remove the inner pillow and wash the cover separately. For the Cotton Pillow, wash the entire pillow on a gentle cycle and air dry to preserve the fill. Common mistake: washing the Cotton Pillow too often can flatten the fill. Spot clean when possible.
