Quick Answer
The Dead by Daylight Soundtrack foil cover vinyl is a rare, out-of-print Record Store Day exclusive that offers a unique listening experience with its special packaging and separate shipping from Canada.
What Makes the Foil Cover Special?
The foil cover is a standout feature of this vinyl release. Unlike standard jackets, the foil finish adds a reflective, premium look that catches light and mimics the game's eerie atmosphere. This variant was a USA Exclusive Record Store Day release, making it a limited edition item that collectors prize.
Because the copies are leftover from that event, availability is extremely limited. If you're a DBD fan looking for a tangible piece of the game's audio legacy, this is one of the few official vinyl pressings you can still find.
Trade-Off: Packaging and Shipping
The vinyl requires special packaging due to its size and fragile nature, and it ships separately from other items in your order. This means you can't combine it with a t-shirt or hoodie in the same shipment to save on shipping costs. The separate shipping also comes from Canada, so expect longer delivery times and potentially higher shipping fees compared to standard domestic orders.
If you're ordering multiple items, plan for the vinyl to arrive in its own box. The special packaging ensures the record arrives undamaged, but it's a logistical detail to keep in mind.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Dead by Daylight Soundtrack vinyl still in print?
No, this foil cover edition is out of print. The copies we have are leftover stock from the original Record Store Day release, so once they're gone, they're gone. If you want this variant, buy now while it's still available.
What is the audio quality like?
The vinyl is pressed on standard black vinyl (not colored or picture disc). The soundtrack includes the game's original score, offering a warm analog sound that many fans prefer over digital streaming. However, since this is a leftover batch, minor surface noise may be present on some copies. Expect good but not audiophile-grade sound; it's more about the collectible experience.
Why does it ship separately from Canada?
The vinyl requires special packaging to prevent damage during transit, and it ships from a Canadian warehouse. This means it cannot be combined with other items in the same package, and delivery times will be longer than standard orders. Plan for separate shipping and potential customs delays if you're outside Canada.
