Quick answer
Choose the Disney Baby Finding Nemo My Size Potty 2-in-1 System if you want a potty that transitions from a floor chair to an adult toilet seat. Choose the Disney Stitch Full Comfort Potty if you prefer a simple, budget-friendly floor potty with a high back and handles for extra security.
Key differences at a glance
Both potties are made by Bright Starts and feature beloved Disney characters, but they serve slightly different stages of potty training. The Finding Nemo potty is a 2-in-1 system that starts as a standalone floor potty and later converts to a seat that fits on a standard adult toilet. The Stitch potty is a dedicated floor potty with a high back, seat handles, and a wide base for stability.
The Stitch potty is priced lower, making it an attractive option for families who want a straightforward, no-fuss potty chair. The Finding Nemo potty costs more but offers the added value of a transition seat, potentially reducing the need to buy a separate toilet trainer later.
Trade-offs to consider
- Versatility vs. simplicity: The Finding Nemo potty grows with your child, offering both a floor chair and an adult toilet seat. The Stitch potty is a single-purpose floor chair with no transition feature.
- Price vs. features: The Stitch potty is more budget-friendly (around $9.14) but lacks the conversion capability. The Finding Nemo potty costs more (around $20.09) but includes the transition seat.
- Comfort vs. portability: The Stitch potty has a high back and handles for added comfort and security. The Finding Nemo potty does not list those features, but its 2-in-1 design may be more convenient for families who want one product for both stages.
