Quick answer

Preorder the Dragon Ball Daima S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan 4 Goku exclusive figure as soon as possible to secure the authentic Japanese release, but only if you are comfortable with the standard preorder wait and non-refundable deposit.

Why preorder this exclusive figure

The Dragon Ball Daima S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan 4 Goku is an exclusive release from Bandai Spirits, meaning it may not be widely available after the initial preorder window. Preordering guarantees you get the figure at the catalog price of USD 87.12, compared to a potential higher aftermarket price.

This figure stands 5.66 inches (14.5 cm) tall and features the detailed sculpting and articulation that S.H.Figuarts is known for. Because it is dispatched directly from Osaka, Japan, you can be confident in its authenticity.

Trade-offs to consider

Preordering means you will not receive the figure immediately. Release dates for preorder items can shift, so patience is required. Also, most preorders require a non-refundable deposit, so be sure you want the figure before committing.

If you prefer to see in-hand reviews or compare poses before buying, waiting for a general release might suit you better, but you risk missing out on the exclusive altogether.

Decision rules for preordering

  • Check the preorder window: Preorder as early as possible. Exclusive figures often have limited allocation, and once the window closes, availability may drop to zero.
  • Understand the deposit policy: Most preorders require a non-refundable deposit. Confirm the amount and terms before placing your order. Only preorder if you are certain you want the figure.
  • Track the estimated release date: Release dates for preorder items are estimates and can change. Check the product page for the latest update and plan accordingly. Set a reminder to review the release date monthly.
  • Verify authenticity: Order from a trusted store like Figure Start that dispatches directly from Japan to ensure you receive a genuine Bandai Spirits product.
