Quick answer
Choose Dragon Ball Super Warriors Wave 8 for detailed mini figures in a blind box, the DAIMATSURI Special Edition for a premium display piece, or Daima Sofbits for soft vinyl collectibles with a larger scale.
Size and display differences
The three figure lines differ noticeably in scale. Dragon Ball Super Warriors Wave 8 figures are approximately 2 inches tall, making them ideal for desk or shelf groupings. The Daima Sofbits figures stand about 3 inches tall, offering a larger presence in soft vinyl. The DAIMATSURI Special Edition is a single, non-articulated display figure with a multicolor design, best suited as a centerpiece.
Packaging and blind box considerations
Both the Super Warriors Wave 8 and Daima Sofbits come in factory-sealed blind boxes. This means you won't know which specific figure you receive until opening. The DAIMATSURI Special Edition is a known item—you get the exact Goku figure shown. If you prefer certainty, the DAIMATSURI is the straightforward choice.
How to decide which Dragon Ball figure line is right for you
- You want a variety of characters in a small size: Dragon Ball Super Warriors Wave 8 offers detailed 2-inch mini figures from the latest DAIMA series. Each blind box contains one figure, so you can collect multiple.
- You want a guaranteed, unique display piece: The DAIMATSURI Special Edition NYCC 2024 is a known Goku figure with multicolor design. No blind box—you get exactly what you see.
- You prefer larger soft vinyl figures: Daima Sofbits figures are approximately 3 inches tall and made of soft vinyl. They come in blind boxes, so you may not get a complete set.
