Quick Answer
The Durex Condom Assortment is a 12-pack sampler that includes multiple Durex condom styles, making it a practical choice for newcomers or anyone wanting to try different textures and fits without committing to a full box of one type.
Why a Sampler Pack Makes Sense
If you are new to condoms or simply curious about what else is out there, buying a full pack of one style can feel like a gamble. A variety pack like the Durex Assortment removes that risk by letting you test several options in one purchase. This is especially helpful because condom feel and fit vary noticeably between models, even within the same brand.
What the Durex Assortment Includes
The Durex Condom Assortment contains a selection of Durex's most popular condoms. While the exact mix can vary by batch, you can expect a range that typically includes textured, lubricated, and standard styles. This variety lets you compare different sensations and find what suits you best. The 12-pack size is compact enough for travel or trying out without a large commitment.
One limitation: because the pack is a sampler, you get only one or two of each style. If you find a favorite, you will need to buy a dedicated box of that specific condom afterward.
How This Pack Compares to Buying Individual Boxes
Buying the assortment pack costs USD 9.22 (catalog price USD 12.99), which is often cheaper than buying two or three separate small packs. However, if you already know you prefer a specific Durex condom, purchasing that single type in a larger quantity will give you a better per-unit price. The sampler is for exploration, not for bulk stocking.
Decision Rules for the Durex Condom Assortment
- Rule 1: Try Before You Commit: If you are unsure which Durex condom you prefer, this sampler pack lets you test several styles in one go. Use it to narrow down your favorites. Keep a note of which condom you liked best so you can buy that specific type later.
- Rule 2: Assess Your Fit Needs: The assortment includes standard-sized condoms. If you require a larger or smaller fit, you may find that none of the included options work perfectly. In that case, look for a dedicated size-specific pack. Measure yourself or check the sizing guides on individual Durex products if you have fit concerns.
- Rule 3: Compare Cost vs. Value: At the discounted price of USD 9.22, the sampler is a good value for trying multiple types. But if you already have a preferred condom, buying a larger pack of that single type will be more economical per condom. Use the sampler only for discovery; switch to bulk purchases once you know your pick.
