The rigid box and printed extras make it feel like a proper capstone, not just another release.
Frequently Asked Questions About the EVANGELION 3.0+1.11 Collector's Edition
What discs are included?
The set contains three discs: one 4K UHD disc of the film, one Blu-ray of the film, and a separate disc of brand-new bonus features.
Is there an English dub?
Yes, the set includes both the original Japanese language version and an English dub on the discs.
What physical extras come in the box?
Inside the rigid box case you'll find a 28-page book, a set of art cards, and a poster.
How does this compare to a standard Blu-ray release?
Standard releases typically include just the movie disc and maybe a digital code. This Collector's Edition adds a second Blu-ray of the film, a bonus disc, and substantial printed collectibles in a premium box. If you already own a standard Blu-ray, the main reason to upgrade is the 4K UHD presentation and the exclusive bonus disc content.
Is this the same as the 'Thrice Upon a Time' Blu-ray?
Yes, the film itself is EVANGELION:3.0+1.11 THRICE UPON A TIME. The Collector's Edition is a deluxe version of that same movie, not a different cut. If you only want the movie, a standard Blu-ray is enough. If you want the extras and 4K, this is the version to get.
