Quick answer
If you value a refillable system with premium 160gsm pages and a cover that reflects your style, the Everyday Deluxe System outperforms standard planners. Choose Meteor Shower for a bold, cosmic look or Wild Periwinkle for a calm, floral aesthetic.
Why refillability matters for long-term planning
Standard planners often force you to buy a whole new book each year, even if you only need new pages. The Everyday Deluxe System uses a durable cover that lets you swap in fresh inserts—dot grid, lined, graph grid, or blank—so your planner evolves with your needs without starting over.
Cover design and personal expression
A planner you carry daily should feel like yours. The Meteor Shower edition features silver-foil meteor and star detailing on an emerald cover, evoking a night sky in motion. Wild Periwinkle offers a crisp white floral pattern on a soft periwinkle blue background, inspired by quiet mornings. Standard planners rarely offer this level of detail or the option to switch covers.
Everyday Deluxe vs Standard Planner: Trade-offs at a Glance
- Page quality: The Everyday Deluxe System uses 160gsm pages that resist ghosting and bleed-through, even with fountain pens or markers. Standard planners often use thinner paper (around 80-100gsm) that may show ink on the reverse side.
- Refill cost vs. all-in-one price: The initial cover cost is higher than a basic planner, but refill inserts are typically cheaper than buying a whole new planner. Over two years, the Deluxe System can save money if you replace pages annually. Calculate your two-year cost: cover + 2 refills vs. 2 standard planners.
- Customization options: Standard planners come pre-bound with fixed layouts. The Deluxe System lets you mix dot grid, lined, graph, or blank inserts in the same cover, and you can swap covers (like Meteor Shower or Wild Periwinkle) without losing your pages.
