Figuarts Mini vs. Lookup: JJK Figure Comparison

Quick Answer

If you want a posable, compact figure with lifelike eyes and simple articulation, go with the Figuarts Mini line (like Panda). If you prefer a larger, more detailed statue-style figure that looks up at you from a display shelf, choose the Megahouse Lookup series (like Megumi Fushiguro Culling Games Ver.).

Size and Scale Differences

The Figuarts Mini Panda stands at a smaller, chibi-like scale ideal for desk or shelf corners, while the Megahouse Lookup Megumi Fushiguro is approximately 7 inches tall, making it a more prominent display piece. The Lookup figure also features a jointed neck so it can tilt its head to look directly at you, which adds a unique interactive element that the Figuarts Mini does not offer.

Articulation and Poseability

Figuarts Mini figures include simple articulation in the arms and neck, letting you change poses slightly. The Lookup series, in contrast, is a fixed-pose statue with only the neck joint, so you cannot reposition limbs. If you enjoy adjusting your figures for dynamic scenes, the Figuarts Mini gives you more flexibility; if you prefer a static, carefully sculpted display, the Lookup is the better choice.

Tradeoffs at a Glance

Poseability vs. Presence: Figuarts Mini offers simple arm and neck articulation for multiple poses. Lookup has a fixed body with only a neck joint, but the larger size and detailed sculpting create a stronger shelf presence. Choose Figuarts Mini if you like to pose figures; choose Lookup if you want a showpiece.
Accessories vs. Simplicity: Figuarts Mini Panda includes optional arm parts and a stand, letting you customize the display. Lookup Megumi comes as a single figure with no extra parts, keeping the design clean and focused. Figuarts Mini gives you more display options; Lookup is a straightforward, ready-to-display statue.
Price and Value: The Figuarts Mini Panda is priced at USD 14.39 (compared to USD 23.99), while the Lookup Megumi is USD 25.42 (compared to USD 41.00). Both offer a discount from their comparison prices, but the Lookup costs more upfront for its larger size. Figuarts Mini is budget-friendly; Lookup costs more but delivers a bigger figure.
