Quick answer
Both 12-inch Flopsie plush toys offer soft, floppy charm, but Mr Nick is a versatile animal companion while Snoozy Sloth is a dedicated sleepy sloth with a realistic brown coat. Choose based on which animal personality you prefer.
Design and personality differences
The Flopsie collection from Aurora® is known for its soft, floppy bodies that make each plush perfect for hugging. Mr Nick has a more traditional animal design that fits a wide range of tastes, while Snoozy Sloth is specifically crafted to look like a sleepy sloth with a cream face and claws. Both are 12 inches tall, but their visual appeal differs: Mr Nick is a general animal companion, whereas Snoozy Sloth appeals to sloth fans and those seeking a more realistic, sleepy expression.
If you are buying for a child who loves a particular animal, the choice is straightforward. For adult collectors, the decision may come down to aesthetic preference or the desire for a themed plush.
Price and value
Both plush toys are similarly priced, with Mr Nick at USD 11.79 and Snoozy Sloth at USD 12.46. The slight difference reflects the specialized design of the sloth. Both offer good value compared to their catalog comparison prices, making them affordable additions to any plush collection.
Which Flopsie should you choose?
- Choose Snoozy Sloth if you want a themed sleepy companion: Snoozy Sloth is designed to look like a real sloth with a sleepy expression, brown fluffy coat, and cream face and claws. It is perfect for sloth enthusiasts or anyone who loves a more realistic plush.
- Choose Mr Nick if you want a versatile, all-around plush: Mr Nick fits the classic Flopsie mold with a lifelike animal design that works for any child or adult. It is a great choice when you are unsure of the recipient's specific animal preference.
- Consider the size and shape: Both are 12 inches tall, but Snoozy Sloth has a more horizontal, floppy shape (5.5" x 12.5" x 5") while Mr Nick has a more upright animal silhouette. Think about how the plush will sit on a shelf or be held. Measure your space to ensure the plush fits where you plan to display or store it.
