Quick answer
If you want a compact, foldable desk calendar that doubles as collectible GUNDAM merch, the Endless Calendar - Mobile Suit Gundam W&Endless Waltz is your pick. A standard wall calendar works better if you need a large, hangable monthly view.
Why size and format matter
The Endless Calendar uses an A5 page size (about 5.8 x 8.3 inches) and folds to a compact 8.3 x 8.5 inches. That makes it ideal for a desk, shelf, or display case. A standard wall calendar typically spans 12 x 12 inches or larger, designed to be hung and read from across a room.
If your space is tight or you want to keep the calendar near your model kits, the Endless Calendar fits naturally. If you rely on a wall calendar for quick glances, the smaller format may feel cramped.
Authenticity and collectibility
The Endless Calendar is an authentic Bandai Namco product from Japan, which adds collectible value for Mobile Suit Gundam W and Endless Waltz fans. Standard calendars often use generic printing and lack the same brand pedigree.
However, a standard calendar may offer more variety in artwork (e.g., monthly full-page illustrations) and is easier to replace yearly. The Endless Calendar's unique folding design and official licensing make it a keepsake beyond just telling the date.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Portability: Endless Calendar folds to 8.3 x 8.5 inches and stands on its own. Standard calendars are larger and require hanging.
- Display style: Endless Calendar works as a desk or shelf accent. Standard calendars need a nail or hook and offer a full-page monthly view.
- Collectibility: Endless Calendar is an authentic Bandai Namco item from Japan, adding value for Gundam W fans. Standard calendars are typically mass-produced and less collectible. If long-term collectibility matters, the Endless Calendar is the better investment.
