Quick Answer
If you want the most recognizable Dom-inspired design, grab the Dompla-kun; if you prefer the playful Bulld-styled look, the Bulld Stpla-kun is your pick. Both are 3D rubber mascot keychains from Bandai's Gunpla-kun series.
Why the Gunpla-kun series stands out
The Gunpla-kun series by Bandai turns beloved mobile suit designs into cute, collectible rubber mascots. Each keychain includes a rubber strap with the character's name, making it easy to show off your favorite suit on bags, backpacks, or keyrings. The 3D rubber construction gives them a chunky, tactile feel that photos don't fully capture.
Dompla-kun vs Bulld Stpla-kun: what's different
Both keychains share the same 3D rubber mascot format and include a name strap, but the characters are distinct. Dompla-kun is modeled after the Dom, a classic mobile suit with a rounded, imposing silhouette. Bulld Stpla-kun takes inspiration from the Bulld, a more compact and playful design. Your choice comes down to which mobile suit resonates with you more.
Choosing Your Gunpla-kun Keychain
- Pick Dompla-kun if: You're a fan of the Dom mobile suit or prefer a design with a broader, more imposing silhouette. The Dompla-kun keychain gives you a recognizable Dom-inspired mascot that stands out on a bag or keyring.
- Pick Bulld Stpla-kun if: You're drawn to the Bulld's compact, playful look or want a mascot that feels a bit more lighthearted. The Bulld Stpla-kun keychain delivers that charm in a durable 3D rubber form.
- If you can't decide: Consider collecting both. Since they're keychains, they're easy to rotate or display together without taking up much space. This also lets you enjoy two different Gunpla-kun characters. Check your current keychain collection to see which mobile suit design you're missing.
