Quick answer
The HIPPERS Dreaming Series features Sonny Angel with closed eyes in soft pastel colors, perfect for adding a calm, dreamy vibe to your desk or nightstand. Each blind box contains one random figure from the limited run.
Pastel color palette and dreamy expressions
Unlike the standard HIPPERS series with wide-awake expressions, the Dreaming Series shows Sonny Angel with eyes closed, evoking a sense of calm and sweet dreams. The figures come in lovely pastel shades that blend well with soft decor.
This design choice makes the series stand out for collectors who appreciate mood-based themes rather than active poses. The limited-run nature adds urgency for those wanting to complete a full set.
Blind-box mechanics and rarity
Each box contains one random figure, so you won't know which pastel dreamer you get until you open it. The series is a limited run, meaning once sold out, it may not return. This increases the collectible value but also the risk of duplicates.
If you're aiming for a specific figure, consider trading with other collectors or buying a sealed case to improve your odds of getting a full set.
Decision rules for buying the HIPPERS Dreaming Series
- If you want a specific figure: Buy multiple boxes or a sealed case to increase your chances of getting the one you want. Trading with friends or online communities is also a viable option. Expect duplicates and plan for trades.
- If you're on a budget: Each blind box is priced at USD 10.04 (catalog comparison price USD 13.75), making it affordable for a single purchase. However, completing a set can add up quickly. Set a spending limit before you start opening boxes.
- If you value the display aspect: The HIPPERS figures are designed to stick to surfaces like nightstands, phones, desks, and shelves. Their pastel dreamy look fits well in calming spaces. Choose surfaces that complement the pastel colors for best visual effect.
