Quick Answer
The Holo Taco x DAVIDsTEA Nordic Mug holds about 12 oz (355 ml) and is made of durable ceramic. To protect the holographic icons and glossy teal interior, hand wash with mild soap and avoid abrasive scrubbers or the dishwasher.
Capacity and Daily Use
This mug holds a standard 12 oz serving, making it ideal for a single cup of loose leaf tea or coffee. The wide opening and sturdy handle make it comfortable to hold, and the ceramic body retains heat well for a leisurely sip.
Design and Durability
The limited-edition collab features holographic icons and a signature teal interior inspired by Holo Taco nail polish. The ceramic is durable, but the glossy finish can scratch if treated roughly. Avoid metal utensils and stacking other mugs inside it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the capacity of the Holo Taco x DAVIDsTEA Nordic Mug?
It holds approximately 12 oz (355 ml), which is a standard mug size for a generous cup of tea or coffee.
Can I put this mug in the dishwasher?
No. The holographic icons and glossy teal interior are decorative and can fade or scratch in the dishwasher. Hand wash only with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. Always hand wash to preserve the collab design.
Is the mug microwave safe?
Yes, the ceramic is microwave safe for reheating beverages. However, avoid sudden temperature changes—do not microwave an empty mug or place it in the freezer.
How should I store the mug to avoid damage?
Store it on a shelf or hook where it won’t knock against other ceramics. Do not stack another mug inside it, as the interior glaze can scratch.
Can I use this mug for hot tea and iced drinks?
Yes. It works for both hot and cold beverages. For iced tea, add ice after the tea has cooled to avoid thermal shock to the ceramic.
