Whether you are a seasoned collector or just starting your express journey, knowing the ins and outs of pre-ordering will save you time, money, and disappointment. We will cover the key steps, common pitfalls, and how to spot reliable sources. By the end, you will feel confident placing your next pre-order for those charming Nameless Medal figures.
Understanding Nameless Medal Capsule Toy Figures
Nameless Medal capsule toy figures are a popular line of mini collectibles inspired by Honkai Star Rail. Each capsule contains a small, highly detailed figure of a character from the game, often featuring unique poses or expressions. These figures are typically sold through pre-order windows, meaning you reserve your unit before production begins. Because they are capsule toys, they are often blind-boxed, adding an element of surprise to the unboxing experience.
Collectors love these figures for their affordability and portability compared to larger scale statues. They fit perfectly on a desk, shelf, or in a display case alongside other Honkai Star Rail merchandise. The Nameless Medal series specifically highlights the Trailblazer and other fan-favorite characters, making them a must-have for any dedicated fan.
- Capsule toys are usually blind-boxed, so you may not know which character you get until you open it.
- Pre-ordering a full set often guarantees you receive every figure in the series without duplicates.
- These figures are typically made of PVC or ABS plastic and stand around 2-3 inches tall.
How to Pre-Order Honkai Star Rail Figures: Step-by-Step
Pre-ordering Honkai Star Rail figures, including the Nameless Medal capsule toys, follows a standard process. First, find a reputable retailer that offers pre-orders for the specific item you want. Many stores open pre-orders months in advance, so it pays to stay updated on announcements. Once you find the listing, you will usually need to pay a deposit—often a percentage of the total price—to secure your order. The remaining balance is due when the item is ready to ship.
After placing your pre-order, you will receive a confirmation email. Keep this for your records. The retailer will then update you on the estimated release date, which can change due to production delays. Patience is key, as pre-ordered figures often take several months to arrive. For example, the 【Pre-Order】Honkai: Star Rail - The Memories We Share Series Acrylic Standee is a great alternative if you want a flat, displayable item while waiting for your capsule toys.

- Always check the pre-order deadline—many shops close orders once the production run is full.
- Deposits are usually non-refundable, so be sure you want the item before committing.
- Some retailers offer payment plans to spread out the cost.
Tips for Tracking Release Dates and Avoiding Scams
One of the biggest challenges with pre-ordering is keeping track of release dates. Manufacturers often announce initial estimates that later shift. To stay informed, follow official Honkai Star Rail social media channels and sign up for newsletters from your preferred retailers. Many stores also send email updates when release dates change. You can also use third-party tracking apps or websites that aggregate release schedules for anime and game figures.
Unfortunately, the pre-order market has its share of scams. Always buy from established retailers with positive reviews and clear return policies. Avoid sellers who ask for full payment upfront without a deposit option, especially if they offer prices that seem too good to be true. - If a deal looks suspicious, trust your instincts and walk away.
Why Pre-Ordering Is Worth It for Collectors
Pre-ordering ensures you get the figures you want without fighting scalpers or paying inflated aftermarket prices. For popular series like Honkai Star Rail, capsule toy figures can sell out within hours of release. By pre-ordering, you lock in the retail price and guarantee your spot in the production queue. This is especially important for limited-run items that may never be reprinted.
Additionally, pre-ordering often comes with exclusive bonuses, such as special packaging, bonus parts, or early access to future releases. For collectors who want to complete a full set, pre-ordering a whole box or case is the most reliable method. The peace of mind that comes with knowing your favorite character is on its way is well worth the wait.
- Pre-ordering protects you from price spikes after release.
- Retailers often offer bundle deals for pre-orders of multiple items.
- You can cancel some pre-orders (with deposit loss) if your budget changes.
