Quick answer

Attach the Wall (3.0) to your Tentsile 3-person tree tent using the integrated clips and guy lines. It adds a windproof, waterproof side panel for privacy and weather protection.

Why add a wall to your tree tent?

The Wall (3.0) is a versatile accessory that clips onto the side of your 3-person tree tent. It blocks wind and rain, giving you a sheltered space to change clothes, store gear, or just relax without feeling exposed.

It's also useful for creating a private nook within a shared campsite. Because it's lightweight and packs flat, you can carry it without adding noticeable weight to your kit.

What you'll need

You need the Wall (3.0) panel, your 3-person Tentsile tree tent, and the included pegs (or your own stakes). The wall attaches to the tent's existing clip points — no extra hardware required.

The wall is 100% wind and waterproof, so it holds up well in exposed conditions. Just make sure you have enough space to stake out the bottom edge.

Step-by-step installation

  1. 1. Position the wall: Unfold the Wall (3.0) and lay it along the side of your tent where you want extra coverage. The clip side faces the tent; the bottom edge has loops for pegs. Common mistake: installing the wall upside down. The clip row should be at the top, peg loops at the bottom.
  2. 2. Attach the clips: Snap the integrated clips onto the corresponding attachment points on your tent's side. Start at one end and work your way across so the fabric stays evenly tensioned. If the fabric sags in the middle, you skipped a clip. Go back and attach all available clip points.
  3. 3. Stake the bottom edge: Use the included pegs (or your own stakes) to secure the loops along the bottom of the wall. Drive them at a 45-degree angle away from the tent for a firm hold. In loose soil, use larger stakes or add a rock on top of each peg to prevent pull-out in wind.
  4. 4. Adjust the tension: Walk around the outside and check that the wall is taut. If there are wrinkles, re-clip or re-stake the loose corner. A tight panel sheds rain better and flutters less in wind. Over-tensioning can stress the fabric or clips. Aim for snug, not guitar-string tight.
  5. 5. Test the setup: Zip or close the tent door and check that the wall doesn't block any vents or access points. Make sure you can still enter and exit freely. If the wall interferes with the door, try attaching it on the opposite side of the tent.
