Quick answer

To charge your Olympus LI90B battery with the Xit CHLI90B, insert the battery into the charger slot, connect the European plug adapter if needed, and plug into a standard wall outlet. The LED indicator will show charging status.

Why the Xit CHLI90B works for Olympus LI90B

The Xit CHLI90B is a compact travel charger specifically designed for Olympus LI90B lithium-ion batteries. Its small size (1.8 x 1.5 x 3.2 inches) and light weight (2.2 oz) make it easy to pack, but the included European plug adapter means you may need a separate adapter for US outlets.

Step-by-step charging instructions

  1. Insert the battery: Slide the Olympus LI90B battery into the charger slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the metal contacts align with the charger pins. Common mistake: forcing the battery in backward. The battery only fits one way.
  2. Connect the power adapter: If using a European outlet, attach the included European plug adapter. For US outlets, use a separate US-compatible power cord or a travel adapter. The charger does not include a US plug, so plan accordingly.
  3. Plug into a wall outlet: Plug the charger into a standard AC wall outlet (100-240V). The LED indicator should light up to show charging has started. If the LED does not light, check the battery orientation and power connection.
  4. Wait for full charge: Leave the battery charging until the LED turns green or turns off (depending on model). Typical charge time is 2-4 hours. Do not leave the charger unattended overnight. Unplug once charging is complete.
  5. Remove and store: Unplug the charger, then press the battery release tab (if present) and slide the battery out. Store the charger in a dry, cool place. Avoid storing the charger with the battery inserted to prevent accidental discharge.
