Quick answer
Choose a lightbox based on its size, the artwork you want to display, and whether you prefer a timeless or themed design. Both the Starforge Lightbox and the Gielinor Games Wall Art + Lightbox Bundle offer a 16x24 canvas, but they serve different tastes and budgets.
Size matters: why 16x24 works for most desks
A 16x24 lightbox is large enough to be a focal point on a wall or above a monitor, yet compact enough to fit on a desk without overwhelming your peripheral gear. Both options here share that dimension, so your choice comes down to the art and the price.
Limited edition vs. everyday versatility
The Gielinor Games Wall Art + Lightbox Bundle is a seasonal, limited release tied to GG5. If you're a fan of the series and want to commemorate that specific event, this is your pick. The Starforge Lightbox, on the other hand, is a standard, always-available option that lets you swap in your own prints or keep a clean brand look.
The trade-off: a limited design may gain sentimental value but can't be replaced if damaged. A standard lightbox gives you flexibility but lacks the exclusive storytelling.
Budget: what you get for the price difference
The Gielinor Games bundle is priced at USD 167.99 (from USD 239.99), while the Starforge Lightbox is USD 112.49 (from USD 149.99). The bundle includes a specific wall art print; the standard lightbox is sold on its own. If you want the art and the lightbox together, the bundle saves compared to buying separately. If you already have art or want to change it later, the standard lightbox is the more economical route.
Your lightbox decision rules
- Start with your space: Measure your wall or desk area. Both lightboxes are 16x24, so confirm you have at least that much clear space. If you need a smaller size, neither option fits—look elsewhere.
- Decide on the art: If you want a specific, story-driven design (like GG5), go with the bundle. If you prefer to swap prints or keep a minimalist look, the standard lightbox gives you that freedom. Check whether the lightbox includes a removable front panel for easy print changes.
- Compare total cost: The bundle costs more upfront but includes a print. The standard lightbox costs less and lets you add your own art later. Calculate whether you'd spend more than the difference on a separate print. If you already own art you love, the standard lightbox is the better value.
