Quick answer
To keep your Loop Extra Carry Case clean and protective, wipe it regularly with a soft, dry cloth and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Why regular cleaning matters
Your Loop Extra Carry Case shields your earplugs from dust, dirt, and scratches. Over time, residue from your hands or pocket lint can build up on the case, which may transfer to your earplugs. A quick wipe-down every few weeks keeps both the case and your earplugs in good shape.
The case is compact and durable, but it is not waterproof. Avoid submerging it in water or using harsh chemical cleaners, as these could damage the material and reduce its protective qualities.
Step-by-step cleaning and storage guide
- Empty the case: Remove your Loop Earplugs from the case and set them aside on a clean, dry surface. Check the inside for any debris or lint that may have accumulated. Make sure your earplugs are not exposed to water or cleaning agents while the case is being cleaned.
- Wipe the exterior and interior: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the outside and inside of the case. For stubborn spots, slightly dampen the cloth with water (not soaking) and wipe again, then dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. Avoid using alcohol, bleach, or abrasive cleaners as they can damage the case material.
- Air dry completely: Leave the case open and let it air dry completely before placing your earplugs back inside. This prevents moisture from being trapped against your earplugs. Check that the case is fully dry to the touch before reassembling.
- Store in a cool, dry place: Keep your Loop Extra Carry Case in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, radiators, or humid areas like bathrooms. This helps maintain the case's durability and protective qualities. Avoid leaving the case in a hot car or near heat sources for extended periods.
