Quick Answer

Use the dadada crib conversion kit to turn your dadada crib into a toddler bed. Follow the included instructions and our step-by-step guide for a safe, quick transition.

Before You Start: Know Your Crib Model

Most dadada cribs can be converted with the dadada crib conversion kit, but the Jolly model has its own rail. Check your crib's model number before purchasing to ensure compatibility.

The conversion kit includes a toddler bed rail that lets your child climb in and out safely. If you have the dadada Bliss crib, it transitions to a toddler bed, daybed, or floor bed without extra parts.

Step-by-Step Conversion Process

  1. Remove the crib front: Unscrew the bolts securing the front panel of the crib using the appropriate Allen wrench or screwdriver. Keep hardware in a safe place. Common mistake: losing the bolts. Use a small container.
  2. Attach the toddler bed rail: Align the rail from the conversion kit with the pre-drilled holes on the crib side. Insert the bolts and tighten securely. Check that the rail is level and flush before tightening fully.
  3. Lower the mattress: Move the mattress to the lowest setting to prevent your toddler from climbing over the rail. Ensure the mattress fits snugly. If the mattress is too high, the rail won't be effective.
  4. Inspect stability: Gently shake the bed to ensure all connections are tight. Check for any sharp edges or exposed screws. Re-tighten any loose bolts after a week of use.
