Quick answer

To fit a rear wing on the Gothe Lden Luxury 162050, use the Carrera rear wing set (SKU 370510125) and follow the mounting steps below—no special tools are required.

Why the correct rear wing matters

The rear wing on the Gothe Lden Luxury 162050 is not just for looks—it helps keep the car stable during high-speed runs. A loose or incorrectly fitted wing can affect handling and may even detach while driving.

Because the wing is a spare part, it comes with mounting parts included, so you don't need to buy extra screws or clips. However, the exact mounting hardware may vary depending on the model revision, so check the included parts before you start.

Step-by-step installation

  1. Prepare the car and parts: Place the car on a clean, flat surface. Remove the old rear wing if present, and lay out the new wing and mounting parts. Check that all screws and clips are present. If any mounting part is missing, contact the seller before starting.
  2. Align the wing: Position the rear wing on the mounting posts or holes at the back of the car. Ensure the wing is centered and the screw holes line up with the posts. If the holes don't align, do not force the wing—check for debris or a bent post.
  3. Secure the mounting screws: Insert the screws or clips and tighten them evenly. Use a small Phillips screwdriver if needed. Do not overtighten, as this can strip the threads or crack the wing. Tighten just until snug, then test for movement.
  4. Test the fit: Gently wiggle the wing to ensure it is secure. If it moves, tighten slightly. Then run the car at low speed to confirm the wing stays in place. If the wing vibrates at speed, re-check the mounting screws.
