Quick answer
Set up your WaterPORT GoSpout in minutes: fill the tank, pressurize it with the built-in pump, and attach the spray nozzle for instant pressurized water at camp.
Why choose the GoSpout for camp water
The GoSpout 2-Gallon tank is a lightweight, portable solution for carrying and dispensing water at your campsite. Unlike gravity-fed systems, its built-in pressurization gives you a steady spray for rinsing dishes, washing hands, or cleaning gear without needing to hang the tank.
How to set up your GoSpout tank
- 1. Prepare the tank: Remove the cap from the GoSpout tank and fill it with clean water from your source (tap, stream, or jug). Leave about 1–2 inches of air space at the top for pressurization. Screw the cap back on tightly. A common mistake is overfilling—without air space, the pump cannot build pressure.
- 2. Pressurize the tank: Locate the hand pump on the top of the tank. Pump it 15–20 times until you feel resistance. The tank is now pressurized and ready to dispense water. Pumping more than 25 times may over-pressurize the tank; stop when you feel firm resistance.
- 3. Attach the spray nozzle: Connect the included spray nozzle to the outlet on the tank cap. Twist it until it locks into place. Point the nozzle away from your body and squeeze the trigger to release water. If no water comes out, the tank may not be fully pressurized—pump a few more times and check the nozzle connection.
- 4. Adjust spray and use: Twist the nozzle tip to adjust the spray pattern from a narrow stream to a wide mist. Use the stream for targeted rinsing or the mist for gentle washing. When done, release pressure by opening the cap slightly. Always vent residual pressure before storing or refilling to avoid accidental spray.
