Quick answer

Iridescent teeth zipper tape is a size #5 nylon zipper tape with color-shifting teeth, sold in 3-yard increments that are not continuous. It works with #5 nylon pulls (sold separately) and is a good choice for adding a playful, colorful accent to bags and pouches.

Why size #5 matters for slider compatibility

Zipper tape is sized by the width of the teeth when zipped. A #5 tape needs a #5 slider; using a different size will cause jamming, skipping, or a slider that won't close. Always match the size number exactly, and check that the slider is designed for nylon coil zippers, not metal or plastic molded teeth.

Buying by the yard: what to expect

This tape is sold in increments of 3 yards, and the cuts are not continuous. That means if you order 6 yards, you'll receive two separate 3-yard pieces, not one 6-yard length. Plan your project accordingly: for a single long zipper, you may need to join pieces or choose a different product. For small bags and pouches, the 3-yard cut is usually plenty.

Color and finish: setting expectations

The iridescent finish shifts color depending on the light and viewing angle, so the actual look may differ slightly from photos. This is normal for iridescent materials. Also note that the tape color (the fabric part) is separate from the teeth color; the listing may show options, so select the combination that fits your project.

Iridescent Zipper Tape FAQ

What size slider fits this tape?

Use a #5 nylon coil slider. The size number must match exactly, and the slider must be for nylon coil, not metal or molded plastic.

Can I get a continuous length longer than 3 yards?

No. This product is sold in 3-yard increments that are not continuous. If you order multiple increments, you'll receive separate pieces. For projects needing more than 3 continuous yards, consider joining pieces or choosing a different tape.

Are zipper pulls included?

No, pulls are sold separately. You'll need to add #5 nylon pulls to your order.

How long does shipping take?

This item has a processing and shipping time of 6–8 business days, not including the date of purchase or transit time. Base shipping starts at $10.99. Order early if you're on a deadline.

Is the iridescent color exactly as shown?

The iridescent effect shifts with light and angle, so the actual appearance may vary slightly from photos. This is a normal characteristic of iridescent materials.
