Quick answer
Choose the KONG Play Spaces Cloud if your cat loves lounging on a portable mat with reversible textures; choose the KONG Play Spaces Zen Den if your cat needs a hideaway that doubles as a scratching post.
What makes each option unique
The KONG Play Spaces Cloud is a lightweight spa mat designed for relaxation anywhere in your home. Its reversible design offers plush softness for winter and a smooth satiny feel for summer, plus crinkle material and catnip to engage indoor cats. At 24 by 17.25 inches, it fits easily in a cat tree, window perch, or carrier.
The KONG Play Spaces Zen Den is a foldable hideaway that combines a large scratching surface on the outside with a dangling bell-filled plush ball inside. It also includes super soft plush bedding, making it a multi-sensory enrichment center for hiding, batting, and napping.
Key differences at a glance
Portability: The Cloud is a flat mat you can roll or fold and move from room to room. The Zen Den is a structured den that stays in one spot but folds flat for storage.
Scratching: The Zen Den has a dedicated scratching surface; the Cloud does not. If your cat needs a place to scratch, the Zen Den serves double duty.
Enrichment: The Zen Den includes a bell ball for active play; the Cloud uses crinkle material and catnip for sensory stimulation. Both offer enrichment but in different ways.
Price: The Cloud costs significantly less than the Zen Den, making it a budget-friendly option for a cozy resting spot.
